May 31, 2018 – New York City
On Sunday, June 3, 2018, a distinguished group of 70 senior anti-Zionist Rabbis, including Holocaust survivors, representing Orthodox Jewish communities of New York, will be protesting the annual Celebrate Israel Parade in New York City, on its side lines on 71st St. between 5th and Madison Avenues, at 3:00 PM. The number 70 symbolizes the mourning of authentic Jews worldwide for the 70 years of the state’s existence
“There is nothing to celebrate,” said Rabbi Aron Jacobowitz, a spokesman for the group. “The state is a catastrophe for Jews and for Judaism. The Zionist movement came to execute a transformation of Judaism from a religion to nationalism. The recent forced military draft, as well as the cruel oppression of protesters, is another stage in their attempt to force the remaining authentic Jews to take part in their actions, which are totally contradictory to the laws of Judaism.
“Jews are forbidden to create a sovereign state or wage wars against other nations. Authentic Jewry never recognized the State of Israel and therefore cannot recognize Jerusalem as its capital.
“The Zionist state’s claim to be a Jewish state is the worst kind of identity theft. The State of Israel is not Jewish at all, and its ongoing actions do not represent world Jewry. The ongoing crimes committed by the state against the Orthodox community prove once again that they don’t represent the religious Jews living in the Holy Land, let alone those around the world.
“All that our communities in the Holy Land want is to live in peace with their non-Jewish neighbors and practice and preserve the Jewish religion, as we did prior to the establishment of this political State of Israel. We do not desire power or domination.
“The brutal suppression of public demonstrations is a violation of universal freedom of speech, and forcing Jews to join an army which is forbidden according to their beliefs, is a violation of freedom of religion.
The main banner of the event will read, “Jews worldwide mourn 70 years existence of "Israel", a rebellion against the Almighty and a disaster for humanity” and a number of respectable rabbis will address the gathering.
