NY Jews Protesting Israel on Its 70th Independence Day

On April 20 thousands of anti-Zionist Jews from the Orthodox community held a demonstration in front of the Israeli Consulate in New York City. The purpose was to protest the existence of the State of Israel and to decry its persecution of all who speak up against it.

The demonstrators showed photos of recent cruel attacks by the Israeli army and police against religious Jews – men, women and children - during recent public demonstrations in Jerusalem against the Israeli government and its actions.

"The Zionist movement is about a transformation of Judaism from a religion to nationalism," said Rabbi Aron Jacobowitz, a spokesman for the rally. "The recent forced military draft, as well as cruel oppression of protesters, is another stage in their attempt to force the remaining authentic Jews to take part in their actions, which is totally contradicted to the laws of Judaism.

"Jews are forbidden to create a sovereign state or wage wars against other nations. The State of Israel is not Jewish at all, and its ongoing actions do not represent world Jewry.

"The Zionist state's claim to be a Jewish state, is the worst kind of identity theft. The ongoing crimes committed by the state against the Orthodox community, prove once again that they don't represent the religious Jews living in the Holy Land, let alone those around the world.

"The brutal suppression of public demonstrations is a violation of universal freedom of speech, and forcing Jews to join an army which is forbidden according to their beliefs is a violation of freedom of religion."

Leading rabbis visiting New York from the Holy Land addressed the rally with first hand testimony about the arrest and persecution of boys and girls who resist the draft, as well as those who speak up on their behalf. Children at the demonstration where wearing handcuffs and prison uniform as a symbol of solidarity with the children currently being beaten and arrested in the Holy Land.

Friday marked the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, and authentic Jews worldwide mourn the existence of the state.

Text of speech delivered by Rabbi Aron Jacobowitz at the rally attended by thousands of anti-Zionist Jews from the Orthodox community, in front of the Israeli Consulate in New York City, on April 20, 2018.

We have assembled here today to decry the unprecedented crimes of the Zionist government.

Today is the day that the Zionist infidels celebrate what they call their Independence Day. For authentic Jews throughout the world and especially in the Holy Land, this day is a day of mourning the misery and anguish that had befallen our nation since the Zionist oppressor gained control over the holy land.

The Zionist imposter pretends to represent Jews and their interests, but in truth it is complete divergent and conflict. The founders of Zionism and their followers, since its inception thrived to be independent from Judaism, independent from the ruling of the almighty, independent from observance of the Torah, independent of Jewish moral values, independent of basic human moral values and independent of the Divine yoke of the diaspora, which is one of the basic tenets of Jewish faith.Since the Almighty has placed us in exile we are forbidden to have any nationalistic aspirations.

To reach their goals they are practicing non-Jewish and inhuman behavior to reach their nationalistic aspirations. They waged wars, they shed blood and meddled in foreign government affairs, which is in complete contradiction to Torah ruling.

From its early beginning, this movement was vehemently denounced by all Rabbinic authority and Jewish leaders and still is to date.70 years to today the movement of Zionism only accomplished to transform Judaism from a religion to nationalism. Cultivating, teaching and spreading atheism and global growth of animosity and anti-Semitism. Zionism is the worst spiritual virus that eradicates Judaism. To call this state the state of “Israel” is the worst identity theft of all decades, when their Blasphemes behavior is the total opposite of Torah adherence.

Therefore we Torah observant Jews are here today, to condemn their activities and to proclaim loud and clear to the entire world, that Jews are not Zionists, and Zionists are not Jews. They do not, cannot, nor will they ever represent Torah abiding Jews.

Furthermore, the ongoing agenda of placement of embassy’s and other political issues, is purely a Zionist agenda, that does not pertain to observant Jews.

We are here today to request from leaders over the world, to save our brethren from the severe brutality and persecution by the hands of the Zionist government, who, for the past decades is treating them with the utmost extreme,to choke the voice of freedom of religion and speech.Recently they are routinely arresting and brutalizing boys and girls who rightfully, conscientiously object to serve in their immoral army.

At last we call out to the Zionist establishment:

We survived and still live 2000 years of being in exile. Nobody ever was able to extinguish the flame of Torah life. You will not succeed. We will continue with the help of the Almighty to grow stronger and live an eternal life. We hope and pray to the Almighty that the wicked shall be wiped from earth and for the speedy final divine redemption with the coming of the Messiah. Amen
