Welcome gathering in the streets of Jerusalem

A massive welcome gathering in the streets of Jerusalem for Avrohom Lederman after he spent 47 days in military prison for his refusal to serve in the Israeli army.

Lederman is considered an exceptional hero: aside from his strong stance of opposition to Zionism and all Israeli action, he set an example for total noncompliance with any orders of the illegitimate Israeli regime. He refused to put on the military uniform required for all detainees in military prison; he also refused to comply or respond to any request or order. For the first 30 days he was held in solitary confinement; then he was transferred to an open prison, from which he was then thrown out by the officers, who apparently could no longer tolerate his stubborn faith and refusal to recognize their authority.
