Several hundred rabbinical leaders and their followers from the UK with some of them coming from the United States, Israel and Europe held an anti-Zionist rally today November 2, during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to London to mark the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
Text of speech delivered by Rabbi Avigdor Galandauerat at the mass anti-Zionist rally in front of 10 Downing St. In London during the visit of Israeli Prime Minister, to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
Why have we all come here today, people from near and far took the efforts to make their way here, they have given away precious time in the middle of the day, must there must be something very important which is pushing our fellow Jews to come out and demonstrate.
Today is a day which is being celebrated by the Zionists, because 100 years ago was the Balfour declaration, which eventually led to the creation of the State of Israel.
But what has this to do with us? Did we come here to join the celebration? Does anybody think we came out to join the celebration! We are orthodox Jews; orthodox Jews have nothing to with the state of Israel. And today is the most appropriate time to declare that Zionism and its State with their spokesmen do nor represent neither the Jewish people not Jewish interests.
But our orthodox brothers in Israel have to do with the state of Israel they are suffering non-stop from the state of Israel.The state is desecrating the Jewish religion, daily new laws are coming out, gradually trying to eradicate the whole Torah. Contrary to common belief; the Zionists only founded the Israeli state for the purpose of eradicating religious practices and to transform the whole Jewish people from a spiritual religion to an atheistic political nation. This agenda they are pursuing with full vigour up until this present day. The Zionists and their State of Israel are true & bitter enemies of the Jews, one of the worst Jews have ever encountered.
Just to mention a few of the numerous examples, they have legislated against the fundamental Jewish laws of Sabbath observance, the have just a couple of weeks ago passed a law undermining the Jewish dietary laws, and what’s more from The Israeli government passed the law of gradually forcing all ultra-orthodox Jews into their army imposing collective penalties if annual quotas for ultra-Orthodox draftees were not met. This includes brutal harassment and imprisonment for those who are refusing to be drafted because it is against basic Jewish principles and morals. Israeli army generals have freely admitted that they have no need and do not even know how to deal with a large influx of religious soldiers –but the Israeli authorities have a different agenda, the army is the best way for them how to eradicate Jewish observance and faith from orthodox Jews.
Our brothers are suffering bitterly from the Zionist regime;presently there is a constant turnover of around 50 orthodox Jews in the Israeli prison just for refusing to surrender to give up their religion.
We feel that today, when a lot of Zionist politicians come to the UK, is the right opportunity to bring all this to the awareness of the authorities here in London.The truth has to be said, in fact Zionism has brought no liberty to the Jewish nation.In contrast the popular belief, the place of the highest rate of misery and suffering and religious persecution of the Jewish people is no other place than the Zionist occupied land of Israel, the majority of which comes from the Zionist so called Jewish controllers themselves.
In fact all the trouble to Jewish citizens in the holy land in and just before the time of the Balfour declaration has only been a direct consequence of Zionist provocation against the local native who had been living in peace and harmony with their Jewish religious neighbours.
The British government has a long history of having a role in helping human rights of all nations, and have always been sympathetic to the Jewish people in Britain and in the whole empire and worldwide.The Balfour declaration was a well-intended act to help us. However these deceiving and dishonest Zionists had known how to make the most of, and betray, the British kindness, by playing the role as the Jewish saviours!! And in fact misused it to do the opposite of the intention of the Balfour Declaration which clearly states a condition that: “It being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.”
We wish to publicly declare that the Zionists, their state of Israel, their mentality, their statements, and all their policies, do not represent the authentic Jewish people.
We conclude with a prayer that G-d bring about the time of which our prophets spoke when “nation shall not lift up sword against nation, and the world will be filled with peace.”
