Protest & welcome gathering for released prisoners in Jerusalem

On August 9, 2017, at 8:30 PM, masses of anti-Zionist residents of Jerusalem gathered outside the Russian Compound prison, to welcome activists of Merkaz Hatzola, who were unjustly and brutally arrested the day before, upon their release. As the police realized the gathered crowd and their purpose, they delayed the scheduled release. The crowd did not leave the scene, but rather spent the few hours in a protest until midnight. Once the prisoners were released, the crowd welcomed the heroes and marched together in dancing and singing, until they reached the vandalized office of Merkaz Hatzola.
